The Rosé Trio was founded in the spring of 2011 and is comprised of three violinists: Sarah Wallin Huff, Irene Shiao, and myself. We perform a variety of works from Vivaldi and Bach to Delius and Debussy. While many different types of string ensembles abound in Southern California, it is rare to see a professional violin trio. We share the parts and responsibilities, so there is no 1st violin, or rather there are three 1st violins! Sarah is a composer as well, so in the near future the Rose Trio will premier new 21st century violin trio works. It is an honor for me to collaborate with Irene and Sarah & I am very excited for us to perform together!
